Jozankei/Toyohira River Canoe Tour
Enjoy a Canadian canoeing experience surrounded by the natural beauty of the valley. The approximately 40-minute tour offers breathtaking views and fresh air that can only be seen from the river. The tour starts in shallow water, so even beginners can enjoy it safely. As you navigate the valley surrounded by trees, you'll encounter thrilling spots where branches come close to overhead! You can also try jumping off rocks if you wish. We'll guide you to a deep spot where you can safely jump, so be sure to bring a change of clothes if you'd like to try it. During the tour, we'll also stop by the photogenic Nishiki Bridge. In summer, the red bridge stands out against the greenery, and in autumn, it blends into the autumn leaves. The Toyohira River is particularly known for its autumn foliage, and the views from the water are exceptional.
Mt. Kurodake, Sounkyo
Mt. Kurodake, Sounkyo, is the gateway to the Daisetsuzan mountain range. Take a ropeway or lift to the summit, where spectacular views change with the seasons. Enjoy the diverse natural beauty of summer's alpine plants, autumn's foliage, and winter's snowscapes.
